Joint EduLab Course for Bachelor's/Master's Students

The objective of the WP 1 is to provide continuing education and training opportunities that will help to adapt buildings in the Greater Region to future heat waves. The training courses organized will cover all aspects of the problem: building design, equipment management (mainly solar protection), ventilation and air-conditioning. The training offered will focus on building physics, numerical simulation, optimal use of ventilation, cooling and refrigeration systems.

Target groups are:

• Bachelor's/Master's students (future architects, civil engineers, energy managers, etc.) from the 4 universities who can complete interactive courses on summer heat protection on a common platform that brings together the experimental facilities of these 4 universities (EDULAB courses).
• Professionals from various fields who are offered training in the numerical simulation of buildings, taking into account overheating problems and possible solutions, as well as training in the operation and control of cooling and refrigeration systems.
